Scheduling Conflict!!!

Hi Everyone,
I just realized that we are on a camping trip on August 20th. Is there any way we can re-schedule to either the 13th or the 27th? Sorry for the mix-up. I am less than effective at checking out our schedule and I was thrown by the middle of the week camping plans.

Hi All,
Just got back from Kenya last nite.....
I hope this works. I am unsure of how to work this blog. My last posting did not get published, so am trying again. What day is the next meeting scheduled for? I read 3 wonderful books while I was away. One of which was Wolf at theTable as i missed that meeting. Now that I've read it, I am sorry to have missed out on that discussion.

Next Book: The Elegance of the Hedgehog

Thanks, Ellie, for using the blog -- my heart positively sings!

Based on a strong recommendation and a quick survey of the group, we've chosen The Elegance of the Hedgehog for our next meeting. Muriel Barbery's novel is apparently a hit in Europe, but some critics wonder whether us uncultured readers in the colonies will be able to appreciate its richness....Hmmmm...we'll see about that!

Alright, so how many of you have actually finished the book?! I know that Suzanne may surprise everyone with her close reading...though her comments may be based more on the ensuing nightmares than the true text. But, heck, it's all interesting, right?
